Solvent Polyurethane

We use a moisture cured polyurethane which is solvent based. This is the hardest urethane available for floors, this provides a tougher, longer lasting finish. This urethane ensures a clear, durable and abrasion-resistant finish. All our polyurethanes come in gloss, satin or low-sheen finish.

The polyurethane drys 98% hard in 24 hours regardless of weather conditions so can be walked on the following day. Full curing will take 7 to 10 days after application depending on air-flow. During this time there will be a residue smell as the polyurethane cures.
